让座英语日记

　　每周的周六和周日早上，妈妈都会送我去舞蹈班，学跳舞。公交车是我们必不可少的交通工具。

　　Every Saturday and Sunday morning, my mother will take me to dance class and learn to dance. The bus is our essential means of transportation.

　　我清楚的记得，周日的这天早上，我和妈妈像往常一样，守候在公交站点，等着公交车的到来。一上车，就看见最后的一排，刚好有两个空座位。我和妈妈坐在各自的座位上。这时候，车上又上来一位年纪比较大的爷爷。老爷爷扶着车内设置的把手，向四周看了一遍，座位都满了，他只好站在原地。这时，车已经开动了。我在观察，为什么没有人主动给老人让座呢?我有些坐不住了，这时，妈妈摸摸我的头，我转过头看着妈妈，妈妈并没有说什么，只是对我微笑了一下。刹那间我明白了妈妈的意思，她是在鼓励我，让我做自己想做的事。我站起来，让老爷爷坐在我的位子上。这时，车上所有人的目光都向我投来。老爷爷拍拍我的肩膀，说我真是个好孩子。

　　I remember clearly that on Sunday morning, my mother and I were waiting at the bus stop as usual, waiting for the arrival of the bus. As soon as I got on the bus, I saw the last row with two empty seats. My mother and I are in our seats. At this time, an older grandfather came up. Grandpa held the handle in the car and looked around. The seats were full, so he had to stand where he was. By this time, the car had already started. I'm observing why no one offered to give up my seat to the old man. I can't sit any longer. At this time, my mother touched my head. I turned my head and looked at my mother. She didn't say anything but smiled at me. In a flash, I understood my mother's meaning. She was encouraging me to do what I wanted to do. I stand up and let Grandpa sit in my seat. At this time, the eyes of all the people in the car are looking at me. Grandpa patted me on the shoulder and said I was a good boy.
