第一次挖蕃薯英语日记带翻译

　　今天，我和外公约好去挖蕃薯。蕃薯种在外公家旁边的菜地里。我到了那边外公已经做好了准备工作，我也拿了锄头准备下地。

　　Today, I made a pact with Wai to dig sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are planted in the vegetable fields next to the Waigong house. When I got there, Grandpa was ready. I also took a hoe and prepared to go to the ground.

　　我和外公一锄头下去，往前一锹，就看到一串红彤彤的蕃薯滚了出来，我看到开心地抱了起来，大的像南瓜，小的像香蕉。不一会儿，一大堆蕃薯便出现在了我们面前，外婆看到笑得合不拢嘴。

　　My grandfather and I went down with a hoe, and a spade ahead, we saw a bunch of red sweet potatoes rolled out. I saw them happily picked up, big ones like pumpkins, small ones like bananas. Soon, a large number of sweet potatoes appeared in front of us. Grandma could not close her mouth when she saw it.

　　天色已晚，我们装了满满一箩筐蕃薯，带着丰收的喜悦满载而归。

　　It was late. We packed a basketful of sweet potatoes and returned with the joy of harvest.
