　　"Books are the ladder of human progress." It's true that a good book can not only make readers acquire knowledge from it, but also change people's life and create a new generation of talents.

　　我最喜欢就是读书了。

　　My favorite is reading.

　　小时候，我读的是连环画，一读就是半个多小时，简直一发不可收拾，虽然有些地方不太明白，但是也不在意，大有不求甚解的滋味。

　　When I was a child, I read comic books. It took me more than half an hour to read them. Although I didn't understand some places, I didn't care about them. I had a feeling of not understanding them.

　　到了上一年级的时候，我又热衷于读故事书了。我总喜欢品尝细节的描述，不明白的地方也会反复琢磨，直到得到满意的答案为止。

　　When I was in the first grade, I was keen on reading story books again. I always like to taste the details of the description, do not understand the place will be repeatedly pondered, until the satisfaction of the answer.

　　到了三年级的时候，我读的书越来越多，最爱看的莫过于科幻书，它们令我的想象力激增，知识的积累越来越丰富，许多奇妙的事情总逃不过我的眼睛。

　　到了现在，这些书已经不能满足我的需求了。我开始读各类中外名著，名著中的细节描写生动地刻画了一个又一个经典人物，使我如同身临其境一般，而每个人物都令我记忆犹新：神通广大的孙悟空、神机妙算的诸葛亮、坚强的简·爱······。名著，是很神奇的，其中的内容似乎就是在我身边发生的事情，我畅游在书籍的海洋里，收获是无穷无尽的。在不知不觉中，我的写作水平不断提高，写起来也越来越得心应手。

　　By now, these books can't meet my needs. I began to read all kinds of Chinese and foreign masterpieces. The details in the masterpieces vividly portrayed one classic character after another, which made me feel as if I was in the real world, and each character made me remember vividly: the great Monkey King, the brilliant Zhuge Liang, the strong Jane Eyre. Famous works are very magical. The content seems to be what happens around me. I swim in the ocean of books, and the harvest is endless. Unconsciously, my writing level is constantly improving, and I am more and more adept at writing.

　　好书，令我进步，它们培养了我各方面的能力，使我积累了各方面的知识。漫画书，使我的画工越来越好；作文书，使我的写作水平提高；科幻书，使我的想象力丰富；名著，则令我学会了更多的写作技巧和体会到作者强烈的思想感情。

　　Good books make me progress. They cultivate my abilities in all aspects and enable me to accumulate knowledge in all aspects. Comic books make my painting better and better; composition books improve my writing level; science fiction books enrich my imagination; masterpieces help me learn more writing skills and experience the author's strong thoughts and feelings.
