　　Th clock struck lvn at night. Th whol hous was quit. vryon was in bd xcpt m. Undr th strong light, I lookd gloomily bfor m at a hug pil of that disgusting stuff thy call“books”.

　　I was going to hav my xamination th nxt day. “Whncan I go to bd ” I askd myslf. I did not answr. In fact I dard not.
