There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years.One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water andsoil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted watercauses diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reducedwith the rapid growth of modern cities.
To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot.Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect theforest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore,governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protectiontoday.
In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even moreconcrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance ofenvironmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should bemade to put the population planning policy into practice, because more peoplemeans more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy theenvironment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them knowthat destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

读完《鲁滨逊漂流记》这本精彩的小说后，一个高大的形象时时浮现在我的眼前，他就是勇敢的探险家、航海家鲁滨逊。他凭着顽强的毅力，永不放弃的精神，人类的本能，积累的智慧，逃出了给他28年困难的荒岛。
这本书讲述了这样一个故事：有一个富裕家庭里的孩子，叫鲁滨逊，他放弃了富裕而又舒适的生活，来到外面的世界，种种的不幸与困难并没有压倒鲁滨逊，反而使他更加坚强。
风暴海啸，全船除鲁滨逊无一幸免，当时留给他的，就只有船中还能用的东西，他用他的智慧，将其几乎全部搬上了他被卷上的孤岛。
流落孤岛，他为了找到合适的住所，在岸上跑了一整天，在一个山岩下找到了一个栖身之所。鲁滨逊在小山下搭了一个帐篷，想尽量大些，里面再打上几根木桩来挂吊床。第二天，他把所有的箱子以及木板、做木排的'材料，堆成一个临时性围墙，作防御工事。但只过了十几天，突然发生塌方。鲁滨逊不但把落下来的松土运出去，还装了天花板，下面用柱子支撑起来，免得再次出现塌方的灾难。他永不放弃，鲁滨逊奠定了生活的基础。
一次，鲁滨逊无意中掉在墙角的谷壳，竟然长出绿色的茎干，不久，长出了几十个穗头，这真是老天的恩惠。从此，鲁滨逊一到雨季就撒下半数种子来试验，以得到更多的粮食。最糟糕的一次试验，大麦与稻穗的收成仅获了半斗而已。但是，经过这次试验，使鲁滨逊成为了种田高手。知道什么时候下种，现在他知道一年四季播种两次，收获两次。经过他的努力，鲁滨逊有了生活的口粮。
造船回乡，鲁滨逊又花费了数年的时间，无数的心血。光砍树就是数月。但由于事先没有考虑周全，船离海边太远，他怎么也无法让船下水。这下，数年的心血白花了，一切希望都破灭了。直到星期五的出现，这个希望才重新油然升起！
鲁滨逊是个伟大的人，坚毅的人，孤身一人在这个荒无人烟的孤岛上生活了28年。他敢于同恶劣的环境作斗争，勤奋劳动，把小岛经营得有条不紊。他在逆境中锻炼了自己，成就了一番不平凡的事业。这本书教会我们只有坚持才能胜利，只有实干才能让我们摆脱困境，实干比信念更重要……
我的人生也会随着这本书而起航，在人生的航海中，勇敢前进，永不放弃。

Nowadays, more and more people realize it`s necessary and important toprotect the environment. Also,there are some people who don`t pay attention tohygiene and they can`t stop littering the rubbish casually or spittingeverywhere all the time.And in addition, there are a few factories often cuttingdown the trees, discharging chemicals and dirty water and so on.And it causesmany problems like the Greenhouse Effect.If they do these day by day and ourlife will be harder and harder,so we have to stop them. To stop them we can putup commonweal advertisements and tell them the detriment of destroying theenvironment.So we can start from now to make a beautiful life.

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order toimprove his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered manyphysical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies intofarms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes orhydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by drainingmarshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.
However, man's changes to the physical environment have not always hadbeneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasingdanger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come outof the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air ofindustrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollutionof water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is beingchanged and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.
Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know,massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and evenposes a great threat to man's existence. Indifference to these problems willmean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and lawspassed to conserve environment. Otherwise,man is certain to suffer from theserious consequences caused by this lack of care for his livingsurroundings.

There are many ways we can do to reach the loe-carboneconomic.Fristly,discovering others fuels which is more clean and more green toinstead of the using of carbon.Secondly, we should have the save-energyconscious and do something which we can make,for instance,using the bus rantherthan car when you go out,re-use the thing that can be recycle used,reducing theuse of plastic bags.Last but not least,we should plant more trees or othergreenplants,in which way we can not only improve the environment,but also canmake our home more beauty.
In my opnion, the most important thing to reach the low-carbon economic iseveryone must try their best do what they can do for it.Once everyone have thesence of low-carbon economic and have the action by themselves ,it will beearlier to reach it.
