　　星期六早晨，我要去参加在联大举办的英语演讲比赛。一路上我忙忙碌碌，反复地背着那早已烂熟于心的演讲稿。

　　待我踏入等候厅，才7：30分，但已来了四个人。我连忙坐在第五个位上，领号之后登记。还有半个小时呢！我又赶紧拿出稿子，自己背自己读，生怕演讲的时候失误。这时，等候厅里陆陆续续来了好多人，看上去英语水平都很高。我仿佛已经看到了我在场上输给这些人的情景，心跳的速度又增加了一倍。

　　要进场了！我的心不由得一惊，手忙脚乱地胡乱看了几眼稿子。我感到全身的血液都已凝固，脚上也冒出冷汗，心跳动的频率更是一个快。坐在考场里，我总对自己说：“不要紧张，不要紧张。”可是紧张还是在我身上赖着不走。再瞧瞧我旁边那个女孩胜券在握的样子，我更是害怕的不能行。！哎！我还没上场就被自己打败了。

　　在赛场上，时间过的是那样的快，转眼就轮到我了。我踏着沉重的.步伐向台上走，这时，我还忍不住偷偷看了几眼稿子。该演讲了！我紧张的眼神到处乱瞟，好几个单词都忘了怎么读，原本背的滚瓜烂熟的稿子也背的结结巴巴。看着评委老师那面无表情的脸，我以至于到最后连话都说不出来了。“那你先回去吧。”是评委的声音。我心里有种说不出的难受，仿佛此刻别人正在取笑我。

　　这是一次非常失望的演讲，同时，也反映出了我缺少自信、勇气，同时也说明了没做好充分的准备等问题。如果再有这样的机会，我一定要克服种种困难，做好充分的准备去迎接比赛。
