　　今天，外面狂风大作，大雨倾盆。被困在家中的我和弟弟下起了五子棋。

　　Today, it's windy and rainy outside. Trapped at home, my brother and I played Gobang.

　　我们的棋艺不相上下，这盘棋我们整整下了一个多小时。我不禁夸奖弟弟的棋艺，上一次下棋，他还是老输给我的，这一次，他已经学会了给我下套了，我还差点中了他的计呢。

　　Our chess skills are comparable. We played this game for more than an hour. I can't help but praise my brother's chess skills. Last time he played chess, he always lost to me. This time, he has learned to set me up, and I almost fell in his way.

　　可最终，弟弟因自己的进步之大而骄傲起来了，导致最后输给了我。

　　But in the end, my brother was so proud of his progress that he lost to me.

　　虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。可还是应了这句老话了!

　　Modesty makes one progress, pride makes one lag behind. But it's the same old saying!
