蚂蚁搬家英语日记

　　今天我在家门口发现了一些蚂蚁搬着一颗颗大小不同的食物向别处走去，我悄悄尾随其后，很快发现了一个黑乎乎的洞穴，只见蚂蚁们进进出出，好像很忙碌。我想：我先看看它们在干什么，再做恶作剧。突然，天空滴下来几滴雨，我连忙跑进屋，刚把门窗关好，外面就下起来倾盆大雨。我暗自幸灾乐祸：哈哈!蚂蚁要被淹死了。雨停了，我连忙跑到原来的洞穴旁，看蚂蚁死了没有。谁知洞里空空如也，我想，蚂蚁一定被水冲走了。

　　Today, I found some ants carrying different sizes of food to other places at the door of my home. I quietly followed them, and soon found a dark cave. I saw ants in and out, as if they were busy. I thought: I'll see what they're doing first, and then I'll do the prank. Suddenly, a few drops of rain fell from the sky. I ran into the house quickly. As soon as I closed the doors and windows, it rained cats and dogs. I secretly gloated: ha ha! The ants are going to drown. When the rain stopped, I rushed to the original cave to see if the ants were dead. Who knows that the hole is empty, I think the ants must have been washed away by the water.

　　在回家的路上，我看见一棵粗壮的大树上有一个洞穴，我仔细一看，啊!原来是蚂蚁的新家!

　　On the way home, I saw a cave on a big, thick tree. I looked carefully. Ah! It was the new home of ants!

　　因为这件事，人们推出了“蚂蚁搬家，必要下雨”这句话。

　　Because of this, people put forward the saying "ants move, it must rain".
